Wine filtration bag - conical - 3 L

Conical cotton filtration bag, specially designed for the filtration of wine and liquors, tasteless, reusable, made of raw cotton that does not affect the taste of the filtered liquid in any way. A product that should be found in the basic equipment of every home beverage maker.

The bag is designed for the filtration of finished wine (after separation of the fruit must), in particular for the clarification of liqueurs. It can also be used - as a cost-effective alternative to a fruit press - for pressing juice from a small amount of raw material after prior maceration or fermentation.

The bag has a conical shape and a capacity of 3 liters. It is made of high-quality raw cotton. One of the advantages of this material is that it does not affect the taste of the filtered drink in any way. The bag can be used several times and is suitable for hand or machine washing - at a temperature of 60⁰C.

Instructions for use

Before filtering liquor, it should be chilled beforehand, which causes impurities to be grouped into "coarser" clumps, thus increasing filtration efficiency. After pouring the liquor into the bag, it should be hung by the attached handles and the liquid should drain out by gravity. The drink will slowly trickle through the top of the conical bag while the impurities settle on the sides.

In the case of decanting wine (through the bag suspended by the handles), the efficiency of this operation can be increased by "rotating" the bag on its own axis.

A notice:

The bag can be washed in the washing machine at a maximum of 60°C. After washing with detergents, the bag should be rinsed thoroughly so that residues do not get into the drinks during filtration.
